I always found it difficult to find our next trivia spot. My team was more nomadic than most. Moves within the city, scheduling conflicts, and welcoming new teammates always made it difficult to stay in one place. On top of that, if we didn’t like that bar or enjoy the trivia itself, we were on the hunt again. Always searching for our next Pub Trivia Night.
As the self-appointed team organizer, I found myself piecing together a mental map of local trivia nights on the North Side of Chicago. I’d trudge through the many false leads that google provides, read articles, and check hosts’ websites looking for the next spot that worked for everyone. Of course, I’d verify through social media or call the bar to confirm when the time came, but it always felt like too much work just to find a place the worked for our chosen weeknight and neighborhood.
What I needed was a map, that had the pub trivia locations and the day of the week it was held, bonus for start time, but there wasn’t anything comprehensive enough to use. So here we are trying to change that for you! More to come, but for now we want to hear from you.
